However, have tried downloading as suggested and, although it seems to do that OK, when it comes to unpacking and installing on the machine, it's telling me that it can't complete the installation and to check my 'Windows Log' for info. If you are able to boot into safe mode without any issues then, it might be an issue with the graphics card drivers that are installed on the system. I would suggest you to disable the video card drivers after booting into safe mode and then try to boot to the desktop and check.
