Well, Tor is actually a network of layered Socks5 proxies. So instead of using a single proxy server, Tor will route your traffic through 3 proxies, with bit encryption on each layer. The main advantage of Tor vs. Most Socks5 proxy services offer no encryption whatsoever. Encryption prevents torrent throttling. Thanks for posting this. All the torrent clients I used like uTorrent has slow download speed. It works great and the download speed is fast. You can disable it from starting up by using Task Manager on Windows 8 or msconfig on Windows 7.

The torrents I download are not illegal at all. The contents are artwork that has been submitted online for all to see. I find these artwork albums and download them in bulk. I have done nothing wrong, yet they still threaten to shut off my Internet if I download any more torrents.
