Just a quick question, are your sure no other software use a msde ? Could be like a backup software in example. This helps the community, keeps the forums tidy, and recognises useful contributions. I'm absolutely sure that no other software uses SQL , including the backup software 2. Update'll fail if I could've proceed to apply the SP4.
