The combination lock is a [email protected] which is new as in I installed it several years ago and it hasn't been unlocked more that a hundred times at the most.
I unlocked it a few months ago and it was fine. Now I went to unlock it and no go. I have another safe with an [email protected] which works fine and you turn it the exact same way. I use that as a check just to make sure I am turning the dial correctly. The only difference I see is that the 2nd [email protected] has a metal dial and I feel or hear a sound as I put in the combo and I get to the last number.
Once you stop at the last number and slowly turn to the right, you feel resistance and then hit a stop where you can turn the handle to open it. The other safe has a plastic dial and I don't feel or hear anything. I get to the last number and I don't feel any resistance or hit the stop. The dial keeps on turning. I can't believe that is necessary. Any ideas? For you are better off with hammer and chisel, prybar open it your self.
